Online interviews will be conducted using Microsoft Teams
You will find the interview slot assigned to you at

This is a brief How-to guide for online interviews on Microsoft Teams platform.

  • Using the Teams link (provided in your call letter sent over email), you can join the interview at the allotted time
  • Use the link in your browser, when prompted, use the “Join on the web instead” option. Alternatively, you might have to choose the “Continue on this browser” option.
  • Then, allow the website to use your microphone and camera. Choose “Allow”.
  • You will then be prompted to provide your name. Make sure to use the same name used in your M.Sc. application. In addition, provide your application number. The username for the interview should be “Full Name (Application no.)”
  • Kindly keep your video and audio switched on.
  • Click on “Join now”
  • You will now see the following message “Someone in the meeting should let you in soon”
  • If you see this message, it means you have successfully completed the necessary steps to join the interview. It also means that members of the interview panel are aware that you are waiting. In “Teams” parlance, you are waiting in the “lobby”.
  • It is important to note that you cannot enter the online interview directly. The interview panel administrator will give you permission to join the interview.
  • Kindly remember that you might have to wait for some time for your interview turn. You need to remain online until you are let in the interview session. DO NOT press the “CLOSE” button at the top right corner.
  • Since Teams allows you to stay in the “Lobby” for max 15 minutes, it is recommended that you join the interview only 5 mins prior to your assigned time. If for some reason, you have to wait for more than 15 minutes before you are let in the interview, you will have to rejoin the call by using the link that you used earlier.
  • Once the interview ends, the administrator will let you out of the interview “room”. You can then press the “Close” button to exit.
  • Link to the Teams interview has been provided in your call letter. You can also look at the following link for visual description of the step mentioned above:
